An EZLister.net Participant is a user or independent business that can earn additional, residual revenue, by referring customers to our service. There are two levels offered, the first is an Affiliate, the second is a Reseller. Each works the same basic way. As an Affiliate, visitors to your (Affiliate) site click our ad or banner, and are transferred to EZLister.net. If the redirected visitor purchases our product, we compensate the Affiliate for that and subsequent purchases for a period of two years. As a Reseller, the EZLister logos that appear on auctions and on EZLister checkout pages track visitors coming from these sources to our site. If the redirected visitor purchases our product, then we compensate the Reseller for that and subsequent purchases made by the visitor for two years. In general, the concept of each program is similar, but there are different Referral Fees or compensation schedules present. The two programs offer different fees because of the different level of commitment and investment required. Those participating as Affiliates in the Program must own, operate and maintain a web site, and enroll in the program; those participating as Resellers in the Program only have to use EZLister.net and enroll in the program. Clicking that link takes you to the sign up page for the selected program. Fill in the application form, read and accept the agreement presented. EZLister.net will review your application and notify you of acceptance. Who is eligible to join the program? All users of EZLister.net are eligible to join and become Resellers in the Program. The software necessary to track purchases and commissions exists on every EZLister.net auction. The only thing you have to do to be eligible to earn commissions is to join the program. Those desiring to join as Affiliates to the Program are subject to review by EZLister.net. However, any web site that does not promote illegal activity or promote or engage in illegal activities, violence, hate, explicit content, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age is eligible to join the program. There is no cost to join either program. What is the difference between Referral Fees, Commissions, and Compensation? All three terms refer to the same thing, the amount that EZLister.net pays its Affiliates or Resellers for referring users to us. All three are used interchangeably on this site. What is a two tier Affiliate system? A two tier system means that a participating member can earn Referral Fees for sales generated by another participating member that joins the program through their web site or checkout link. The first participating member to enter the program becomes eligible to earn referral fees on sales made by those that entered the program through the web site or checkout links provided by the first participating member. It is important that you understand that all participating members, regardless of whether they were the first or second member to join, always earn first tier commissions on sales that occur due to referrals originating from their site or checkout link. The benefit of being the first member to join is that you have the opportunity to earn second tier commissions from participants who join the program as a result of your efforts. Lower tier commissions are progressively less. This occurs because EZLister.net is interested in obtaining quality Participants who focus on referring quality clients not building their structure, or downline. How are Referral Fees calculated? Referral fees are calculated by taking the number of listing packs purchased by a referred visitor times the referral fee for the tier times the defined Pro Rata Share. Referral Fees are earned and paid using the same calculation for a period of two years from the date of the first purchase made by someone you referred. Currently the referral fees paid to Affiliates in the Program are $20 for the first tier, and $5 for the second tier. The referral fees paid for to Resellers in the Program are $8 for the first tier, and $2 for the second tier. The two programs offer different fees because of the different level of commitment and investment required. Those participating as Affiliates in the Program must own, operate and maintain a web site, and enroll in the program; those participating as Resellers in the Program only have to use EZLister.net and enroll in the program. What is a defined Pro Rata Share? EZLister.net offers three products or packages: a Full Listing Pack; a Half Listing Pack; and a Quarter Listing Pack. The Pro Rata Share for each is: Full Listing Pack, 100%; Half Listing Pack, 50%; Quarter Listing Pack, 25%. How does this all work? How much money can I make? It's not possible to forecast how much money anyone will make as there are far too many variables present. However here are some examples that demonstrate possible outcomes for a single purchase. Remember, the same Referral Fees are paid whenever someone referred by you purchases additional Auction Packs for two years from the initial purchase. Example 1

a Half Listing Pack. By the 25th day of each month, EZLister.net will send you a check for the Referral Fees that you earned the previous month. EZLister.net provides password protected access to a web site that allows you to track your referral fees on an ongoing basis. EZLister.net will not issue Referral Fee checks for amounts that are less than $25. If you earned referral fees but the total amount does not exceed $25, then we hold the earned Referral Fees until the total amount due at least exceeds $25 and pay them in the next regular payment cycle. If you want to receive a Referral Fee check for an amount that is less that $25, notify EZLister of your request and we will issue the check less a $5 processing fee. What happens if I don't accrue $25 in the first month, but I do after six weeks? EZLister.net will not issue checks for amounts less than $25. If your total referral fees do not exceed $25 at the end of a month, but they do exceed $25 after six weeks, then EZLister.net issues you a check for the total amount due at the next scheduled payment date. How will EZLister.net know which Participant referrals came from me or my site? As an Affiliate in the Program, you will be provided advertisements or other graphics or text incorporating specially coded hyperlinks that link to the EZLister.net Site and allow our referral tracking system to identify the Affiliate's Site as the referral source for a visitor to the EZLister.net Site. The included materials may be educational or descriptive material, advertisements, logos, or other materials promoting and/or describing the Products or the EZLister.net Site, and will generally contain one or more of the coded hyperlinks. As a Reseller in the Program, the EZLister.net logos on auction and checkout pages contain specially coded hyperlinks that link to the EZLister.net Site and allow our referral tracking system to identify the Reseller as the referral source for a visitor to the EZLister.net Site. What are my responsibilities as an Affiliate or Reseller in the EZLister.net Affiliate Program? Upon applying to EZLister as an Affiliate, EZLister will provide you with our Training DVD. You should review this DVD and become familiar with the product. EZLister believes that in order to effectively promote a product, you must have a basic understanding of its functionality and confidence that it is will perform as promised. After viewing the Training DVD and obtaining a comfort level with the product, you will have a better understanding of the best locations on your site for links that result in the maximum number of referrals. You must abide with the terms and conditions in the Affiliate Agreement, you read and accept. As an Affiliate in the Program, generally you agree to maintain our advertisements on the site you designate and allow us to track visitors from your site to ours. You are not allowed to modify the advertisements or the hyperlinks in any way without obtaining our written consent, or change the way they are intended to operate. You agree to use only the current material that we make available, and you agree to maintain the operation and content of your own site in accordance with standards we specify. As a Reseller, you only have the responsibility to use EZLister.net in the manner for which it was intended and designed. Can I participate in other affiliate referral or affiliate programs? EZLister.net does not have any restrictions against participating in other referral or affiliate programs. However, we do maintain the right to review and approve all applicants prior to accepting them into the program. In the event that we find other material on your site that we consider is inconsistent with the values, goals and products of EZLister.net, we may decide that your participation in our program is not desirable and deny your request. In what currency will payments be made? All payments
are made in I don't have a website; can I still apply? To join as an Affiliate in the Program it will be necessary for you to own, operate and maintain a web site. If you do not have a website and you are a user of EZLister.net then you can participate as a Reseller in the Program. It is possible for a user of EZLister.net who also has a Web Site to join as both an Affiliate and as a Reseller, or what we call a Dual Partner. If none of these circumstances apply to you, and you have someone you would like to refer, please contact us directly at bill@ezlister.net and we will evaluate your case and determine if a solution is possible. How do I add the links and logos? Upon acceptance into the Program as a Participant, you will be provided information on how to download available Links, or graphics, logos, links, etc, that redirects users from your site to the EZLister.net Web site. You must use these link materials as provided and not modify them in any manner without obtaining our prior written approval. Where should I place the links? EZLister's product appeals to sellers using the eBay Web site. Therefore, Affiliates should place links prominently on their Web site pages frequently referenced by eBay sellers. Your goal should be to drive as much traffic as possible from your site to ours so that when a Product Purchase from EZLister.net occurs, you earn a Referral Fee. To accomplish this it is logical to target the appropriate market segment, or eBay sellers. Upon applying to EZLister as an Affiliate, EZLister will provide you with our Training DVD. You should review this DVD and become familiar with the product. EZLister believes that in order to effectively promote a product, you must have a basic understanding of its functionality and confidence that it is will perform as promised. After viewing the Training DVD and obtaining a comfort level with the product, you will have a better understanding of the best locations on your site for links that result in the maximum number of referrals. How often should I update the links? This is entirely up to you and likely will be a function of the marketing program you implement. EZLister will always have at least two banners, and two search boxes available for you to choose from, and will update and add to these on a continual basis. The only requirement imposed by EZLister is that if we supersede an advertisement or link that you are currently displaying, then you replace the superseded item within 30 days. Do I need any additional training to join the program? Upon applying to EZLister as an Affiliate, EZLister will provide you with our Training DVD. You should review this DVD and become familiar with the product. EZLister believes that in order to effectively promote a product, you must have a basic understanding of its functionality and confidence that it is will perform as promised. After viewing the Training DVD and obtaining a comfort level with the product, you will have a better understanding of the best locations on your site for links that result in the maximum number of referrals. No other training is required to be an Affiliate of EZLister. I have more than one website. Can you track them separately? Can I get one check? At this time, we do not support multiple domain affiliate networks. There is no restriction against promoting EZLister on multiple Web Sites, however, we will track each individually and issue individual checks for each. What if I decide not to participate anymore? Will I still get paid for affiliate referrals, even if I haven't accrued $25? Either party has the ability to cancel the affiliate agreement at any time. However, Referral Fees earned while you are an affiliate continue for two years from the date of the first Product Purchase made by a client, so you will continue to receive Referral Fees even after you are no longer participating in the program. You will not be issued a check until the total Referral Fees due exceed $25. If you want to receive a Referral Fee check for an amount that is less that $25, notify EZLister of your request and we will issue the check less a $5 processing fee. If for any reason you breach any duties or obligations as laid out in the agreement, then EZLister has the right terminate the agreement causing you to forfeit all Referral Fees then receivable or receivable at any time in the future. How long do you pay Referral Fees earned? The Affiliate Agreement specifies that Referral Fees are paid on repeat Purchases for a period of two years from the date of an initial Product Purchase. This is calculated on a per client basis. Therefore, if you refer a client that makes an initial purchase on February 1, 2006, then you will be paid the specified Referral Fees earned on all purchases made by the client until January 31, 2008. The two year period applies to each client referred to us by you. |
